Great care must be taken in welding the headstock to the chassis. Not only is this the part of the process where the greatest strength has to be built in to handle the braking and turning forces of the trike, but it also has to be completely accurate for the optimum rake and trail to give the best possible combination of cornering ability and straight line stabillity.
